Weekly Update
February 24, 2026
Thank you to everyone who supported our PTSA and families by dining at SuperDeluxe, and by donating food to our free market! We appreciate your generosity!
We are alarmed by the recent events in Minneapolis and Portland, and the escalated behavior shown by ICE and CBP. Kellogg MS PTSA is working on ways to support our students and families impacted by the increased risk. Some of our plans include food deliveries from our pantry, and ICE watch around the school. If you would like to work with us, please email info@kelloggmsptsa.org.
Kellogg Food Market (all free for students and families!)
The market has moved! We are now located in a new space between the cafeteria and the gym. We are still open for shopping on Fridays from 4-6 PM.
We are currently in need of the following items, and donations can be left at the Kellogg office during school hours:
Pasta and sauce
Cereal
Tortillas
Long grain white rice
Dried beans (especially black and pinto)
Shelf stable milk, dairy and plant-based
Canned fruit, applesauce
Refried beans
Jam and jelly
Packaged snacks
Cup of noodles
Juice boxes
Spam
We also give hygiene products to students and families - right now we need shampoo, deodorant, lip balm, body wash, laundry soap, and new socks and underwear.
Monetary donations are also greatly appreciated, and can be made here. Thank you for your support!
Backpack Food Program
If you are experiencing food insecurity and would benefit from receiving a backpack with food and/or hygiene items, please speak with any teacher or staff member at Kellogg. We’d love to get you signed up to receive a backpack to help with food on the weekends.
Next PTSA Meeting
Please join us for our next PTSA meeting on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 6:30 PM in the Kellogg Library.
